Indianapolis- The Indiana Pacers began their preseason Tuesday night Oct 7th against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The big question everyone was asking about the Pacers has been whether they will be competitive without Lance Stephenson and Paul George. After Tuesday’s game it looks as if they will be just fine with the aggressive playing of George Hill leading the Pacers with 17 points and some depth from the bench in the way of Lavoy Allen and Shayne Whittington both with double digits.

The Pacers defeated the Timberwolves 103 – 90.After the game Head Coach Frank Vogel of the Pacers said ” A solid performance by almost everybody, basically. I had the mindset to play the starters the first half only;but I wanted George to be the primary weapon for a few minutes the second half. Our mindset is to play winning basketball all season, establish winning habits. ”
