Naptown Tornado Sirens Demolish Evansville 219-117

 

 

 

 

 

 

In their second home bout of the season, the Naptown Tornado Sirens finished with an impressive win against the Demolition City Roller Derby team.  Back-and-forth leads in the beginning jams made for a close match.  Maiden America dominated as lead jammer, beginning with the 4th jam of the evening.  The score was still fairly close at halftime, with NRG leading 92-73.  The lead would only widen for the Sirens from there.  Even with a multitude of penalties, the Sirens continued to bring the pain, and gained a final score of 219-117.  Naptown MVP’s of the game were Wicked Baum-Chele and Dora the Destroyer.

The next home bout will take place on March 6th against the Fort Wayne Bomb Squad.  Come witness what is sure to be an exciting night, as the two teams have a long history!
