With one match-up left between Indy and Fort Wayne, the Komets held off the Fuel with a final score of 4-1. Both teams were scoreless at the end of the first period. A power-play goal by the Komets’ Brett Perlini and an additional goal by Mike Embach, ended the second period with a Fort Wayne lead of 2-1. Indy attempted to play catch-up, but could only land a third-period goal by Kyle Stroh. At the end of the evening, the Komets walked (skated) away with a 4-1 win. This loss continues to keep Indy in sixth place in their division, just shy of playoff position. Join the Fuel at their next home game on Friday, March 27th, as they battle the Reading Royals.
