Indy met the Kalamazoo Wings for the second time this past Sunday afternoon, which resulted in a 2-1 overtime win for Indy. The first period remained scoreless, with intense back-and-forth control. The Fuel added a point to the board with a goal by Evan Vossen, racking up his fifth goal of the season. The score remained 1-0 until the third period, with a tying goal from Ludwid Blomstrand. Going into overtime, Indy Center Kyle Stroh scored his eighth goal of the season at the 4:33 mark, with the assistance of Nick Bruneteau. Stroh’s goal puts him in the position of top scorer for the league. More importantly, this win (4th consecutive) puts Indy at 18-22-4-3 overall, and places them into 5th place in their division, with 43 points. The Fuel are currently two points from playoff position.
