Fuel Winning Streak Shut Down by Walleye

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Fuel’s 6-game home winning streak was brought to an end Thursday night by the Toledo Walleye.  The Fuel, coming off of an eight-day road trip, lost 4-2 in regulation play.  The majority of scoring play took place in the exciting third period.

Indy’s Brembridge put the Fuel on the board first, with his eighth goal of the season at 9:35.  Toledo made it a tied match in the second period, off of a goal fro, Shalla.  It was anyone’ game in the third period, with power plays, extra attackers, and ultimately a win for the Walleye.  Rhett Bly was able to score the Fuel’s second goal, but Jake Patterson fought for the Walleye’s win.

Indy and Toledo will face off again tonight at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum, followed by a home game against South Caroline on 12/6/15.
