It was the first game between the Fuel and the Walleye as the Fuel fell to 5-15-2-3 for the season and the 7th straight loss by losing 4-0 to Toledo

. Tony Schwab of the Walleye scored the only goal in the first period. The second period Toledo built a big lead with the addition of three unanswered goals thanks to Martin Frk, Kyle Bonis and Tyler Barnes.

Jeff Lerg goalie for the Walleye had an outstanding performance stopping all seven of the shots attempted by the Fuel but Mac Carruth goalie of the Fuel was bombarded with 30 pucks and only allowing four in. The Walleye’s top-ranked power-play was halted by the Fuel’s penalty kill as the Fuel went five-for-five with the man disadvantage.
