Chelsea vs Real Madrid – International Champions Cup 2016 (Ann Arbor)

On Saturday, Real Madrid took it to Chelsea and led 3-0 at halftime behind two goals by Marcelo and one by Mariano Diaz.  At the 64th minute, Real Madrid subbed in six players and Chelsea then showed signs of life. The 80th minute saw a goal by Chelsea’s Eden Hazard and then again in stoppage time Hazard found the back of the net.  Chelsea kept the pressure on until the final whistle but Real Madrid scored the victory 3-2 in front of 105,826 fans (second largest crowd to watch a soccer match in the Unites States).
